For Ages 18 and Up
Ready to embrace a healthier you? Beginning February 4th, join us for a class on Strength and Balance for adults at Champion Public Library. This 6-week course will be instructed by Susan Cowlbeck from 2:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, until March 18th. All exercises will be standing or in a chair, no floorwork required. All equipment is provided but wearing comfortable athletic clothes and shoes is recommended. Call to sign up.

Join Champion Public Library at the HFV Wilson Community Center, 625 E Main St. in Ardmore for an 8-week Chair Yoga class. With instructor Mae Woodward, guests will learn yoga movements they can do at home that benefit those knee or hip issues. This class will take place at 2:00 PM, Wednesdays, starting February 5th and will go through March 26th. Join Champion Public Library for Storytime from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Children and their parents or caretakers will be read a story and participate in activities with music and movement. This event happens on Fridays until May 2nd, 2024.

For Ages 8 - 13
Is your child ready to read on their own but is unsure where to start? Start your journey with Champion Public Library’s Passport Program for a guided and incentivized reading adventure. Children are welcome to sign up and read a variety of popular series. Library Passport booklets can be obtained at the library from library staff. Once a child returns a read book, they will be asked a trivia question over the book and receive a stamp on their passport. For each page of the passport a child completes they will receive a small prize and a certificate. A large prize will be given once they complete 5 or more pages.
