Directions

To get to the Atoka County Library, on Hwy 69/75 turn east one block north of the stop light at Court Street. Continue East 1-1/2 blocks. The library is located on the north side in the middle of the block.

STEM Class 2.0: The Coding Robot

For Ages 5 - 8
Is your child interested in coding a robot? Join Atoka County Library for Botley 2.0: The Coding Robot on Thursday, October 5th at 4:30 PM. Participants will help Botley 2.0 move and navigate mazes through coding. Spots are available for children ages 5 to 8. Class size is limited so reservations are encouraged.

Book Discussion Series
Join the Atoka County Library for the Let’s Talk About It series titled: “The Gilded Age”. This series will introduce four different books accompanied by scholar presentations for people who love to read and discuss literature. The next Let's Talk About It will be on "The Red Badge of Courage" starting at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 5th.

DIY Washer Necklace Craft Class

For Ages 12 and Up
Want to explore your creative side? Join Atoka County Library on Friday, October 6th at 1:00 PM and create a washer necklace. Guests 12 and up can paint and decorate their own washer necklace. All materials as well as a variety of nail polish colors will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own polish if they wish.

Gear Up for the Annular Solar Eclipse

The annular solar eclipse is coming! Are you ready? The Southern Oklahoma Library System wants you to be prepared! Visit your local SOLS branch from Monday, October 9th – Friday, October 13th during business hours to pick up eclipse glasses to gear up for the solar eclipse on Saturday, October 14th. Glasses are limited to 4 per family.

Fans of historical fiction and historical events in Oklahoma will enjoy getting to know the author, her writing process and being able to ask questions during the event.
