Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join others at the Wilson Public Library for a monthly book club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, July 30th. Books will be made available starting Wednesday, July 1st. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “Heartwood” by Amity Gaige, will be discussed. Call to sign up.
Yarn-Wrapped Cardboard Letters
For Tweens and Families
The Wilson Public Library is excited to announce a hands-on, creative craft event for tweens and their families: “Yarn-Wrapped Cardboard Letters,” taking place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Monday, September 14th. This fun, come-and-go program invites participants to transform plain cardboard letters into personalized works of art using colorful yarn, creativity, and a dash of inspiration. Homeschool Hangout
Weekly Program for Homeschool Families
The Wilson Public Library is thrilled to offer Homeschool Hangout, an all-new, free weekly program thoughtfully crafted to support and inspire local homeschool families. Beginning Wednesday, September 16th, Homeschool Hangout will take place every Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, providing a welcoming space for homeschoolers of all ages to learn, connect, and grow together. Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up

3D Printing Services
During Library Hours
Starting August 6, Wilson Public Library will have 3D printing services available to the public during library hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This will allow patrons to bring their ideas to life and explore new technologies right in their local library. Call for more details.
Read, Play, & Create
For Ages 0 - 5
The Wilson Public Library is excited to announce the launch of “Read, Play, & Create,” a weekly program designed especially for children ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers. Beginning Thursday, August 13th, families are invited to join the fun every Thursday at 1:00 PM. The program is come-and-go style, allowing families the flexibility to participate as their schedules allow. Call for more information.
1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
Wilson Public Library is proud to partner with Oklahoma Forestry Services and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries to offer the Rural Library It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.Backpack Program that can be checked out from the library. This backpack features a variety of educational tools, including age-appropriate information about insects, a book about invasive species, and hands-on activities. This program highlights how libraries support learning beyond books by connecting families with science, nature, and discovery in the Wilson community all year long.
