Basics of Sewing Class
For Ages 18 and Up
Join us at the Healdton Community Library on Tuesday, April 29th at 5:30 PM for a session on the basics of sewing machines. Led by Jovita Black, participants will learn how to clean, maintain, and operate a sewing machine.

Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join us at Healdton Community Library for a monthly book club on Monday, May 12th at 5:30 PM. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on a popular book title for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “The Women” by Kristin Hannah will be featured.

SRP Kick Off Foam Party
At the Healdton Oil Museum
Join Healdton Community Library at the Healdton Oil Museum (10734 Oklahoma 76, Healdton, OK) on Monday, May 19th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM for a Foam Party to kick off this year’s Summer Reading Program. Children will be able to play with fantastic foam. Goggles, a towel, water-safe shoes, and play clothes are recommended. This outdoor event is free and open to the public.

Cooking Camp
For Ages 8 - 13
Is your child interested in the world of cooking? Join Healdton Community Library and Jovita Black of the OSU Extension, on Wednesday, May 28th, and Thursday, May 29th from 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM for Cooking Camp for Kids. Children ages 8-13 are welcome to participate in cooking activities that range from making Bread in a Bag to crafting delicious Stovetop Pizza. Call to sign up.

SRP Performers
For All Ages
Summer Reading Programming continues at Healdton Community Library this June! Featuring the theme “Color Our World” the annual SRP will host the following performers every Monday in June at 11:00 AM. These events are free and open to the public.

Crochet Classes
Every Tuesday
Are you curious about crocheting but not sure where to begin? Join us at the Healdton Community Library for a fun evening of crafting! Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM, you'll find a warm and welcoming group of fellow crafting enthusiasts just like you. It’s the perfect chance to learn how to crochet, exchange ideas and patterns, and make new friends along the way.

GED Classes
For Ages 16 and Up
GED classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:30 PM with the New Dimension Literacy Council. This program offers free tutoring and education services, including GED Instruction and pre-GED tests for those 16 and up. Call for more information.

Storytime
For Ages 4 and Younger
Join Healdton Community Library for Storytime at 9:00 AM. Children 4 and under, along with their parents or caretakers, will be read a story and participate in activities with music and movement. This program happens on Wednesdays until May 2024.
