Art Therapy Class
With Christina Tabor
Join us at the Johnston County Library from 6:00– 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 30th, for art therapy for all cancer warriors and survivors led by Christina Tabor. This art therapy class will offer attendees a chance to step away from the noise, relax your brain, and reconnect with yourself and others. It allows time to breathe and find peace and comfort in a safe peer-lead space created with healing as the focus. Open to all struggling and/or surviving any cancer diagnosis. No prior art experience is needed. Snacks will be provided. Sign up now to secure your spot!

Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Engage in a book discussion with the Johnston County Library at 6:30 PM, Thursday, November 6th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. Participants will share views on “The Return of the Native” by Thomas Hardy. Snacks provided by the Friends of Johnston County Library.

Reading on the Refuge
For Ages 1 - 7
Get ready to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with the Johnston County Library! Join us for a delightful “Reading on the Refuge” at the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge Observation Tower on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM. Join us at the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge at 11766 South Refuge Road in Tishomingo.
