Directions
To get to the Atoka County Library, on Hwy 69/75 turn east one block north of the stop light at Court Street. Continue East 1-1/2 blocks. The library is located on the north side in the middle of the block.

SRP Performers
At Atoka Elementary Gym
Summer Reading Programming opens at Atoka County Library this June and July! Featuring the theme “Unearth A Story” the annual SRP will host the following performers at 9:30 AM on every Tuesday at the Atoka Elementary Gym (1680 S. Greathouse Drive, Atoka, OK.) Call for more information.
Paint Your Own Dinosaur
For Ages 8 to 12
Join Atoka County Library at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 12th, to paint your own dinosaur. Children can pick from a variety of dinosaur figurines and vibrant paints to create their own one-of-a-kind prehistoric masterpieces. Call to sign up.
SRP Foam Party
For Children of All Ages
Join Atoka County Library during Atoka Community Hero’s Day for a Fun Foam Event from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 13th. Children of all ages are welcome to cool off with our fantastic foam cannon. Sunscreen, goggles, a towel, and waterproof shoes are recommended. Call for more information.
Dino Party & Storytime
For Ages 3 to 12
The Atoka County Library is excited to announce a roaring good time for young readers and dinosaur enthusiasts! At 1:00 PM on Friday, June 19th, the library will host a Dino Party and Storytime for children. This dino-mite event will transport kids into the prehistoric world with engaging dinosaur-themed stories, delicious snacks, and fun-filled games. Call for details.
Dino Art Contest
For Ages 5 to 10 & 11 to 15
Unleash your creativity at the Atoka County Library’s Dino Art Contest! Join us at 12:30 PM on Friday, June 26th, for a fun-filled afternoon of painting and imagination, open to young artists. Pick your favorite dinosaur-themed canvas and bring it to life with vibrant colors, no experience necessary! Call to sign up.
Plant Bingo Event

The Atoka County Library is excited to announce an upcoming Plant Bingo event, to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 27th. This free, fun, and social gathering is open to all plant lovers ages 12 and up. Call to sign up.
Tech Tuesdays
With AT&T
The Atoka County Library is excited to announce the launch of “Tech Tuesdays with AT&T,” a new monthly technology program designed for adults in the community. This program will start at 12:00 PM on July 7th and will continue every first Tuesday of the month. Tech Tuesdays will be led by Jodie Cummings from AT&T, who will provide practical guidance on minor troubleshooting, technology how-tos, and general device usage. Designed for ages 18 and up. 1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.

Stop by the Atoka County Library from 12:00 – 2:30 PM every 3rd Friday of each month and visit with CREOKS Health & Housing Services for all your mental health and housing needs. Call for more information.
Monthly Local Services and Resources Visit
With the Atoka County Health Department
Connect with local services and resources at the Atoka County Library! Stop by the library from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM on the 1st Friday of each month and visit with Tracie Smith, Community Health Worker with the Atoka County Health Department, who will advise patrons on local services. This monthly program is for ages 18 and up, providing important information on how to get food, housing, clothing, and basic needs. Call for more information.
