Directions
To get to the Atoka County Library, on Hwy 69/75 turn east one block north of the stop light at Court Street. Continue East 1-1/2 blocks. The library is located on the north side in the middle of the block.

Fresh Start Nutrition Class
For Ages 18 and Up
The Atoka County Library and the OSU Extension have teamed up to bring Fresh Start: Education Nutrition Program, a 3-week nutrition education course, starting on Friday, April 25th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with instructor Madison Sam of the OSU Extension. Adult attendees are encouraged to attend this free program. Call to sign up.

SRP Kick Off Foam Party
At Atoka Sports Complex, Atoka
Join Atoka County Library at the Atoka Sports Complex (2077 W Liberty Rd, Atoka, OK) on Thursday, May 15th from 5:00 – 6:00 PM for a Foam Party to kick off this year’s Summer Reading Program. Children will be able to play with fantastic foam. Goggles, a towel, water-safe shoes, and play clothes are recommended. This outdoor event is free and open to the public.

Time to Catch a Cloud
For Ages 5 - 10
Time to watch the skies at Atoka County Library on Tuesday, May 20th at 4:30 PM! Children will learn about the weather by crafting sundials and discovering different cloud types by using a cloud spotter. All supplies will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.

Healthy Cookies Baking Class
For Ages 8 and Up
Join us at the Atoka County Library for a fun baking event! On Friday, May 30th from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, children are invited to participate in a lesson on making healthy cookies. Attendees will make two delicious cookie recipes. All supplies will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.

SRP Performers
For All Ages
Summer Reading Programming continues at Atoka County Library this June! Featuring the theme “Color Our World” the annual SRP will host the following performers every Tuesday in June at the Atoka Elementary Gym (1775 S Greathouse Dr, Atoka, OK) at 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM. This event is free and open to the public.

Splash Bash
At the Atoka Sports Complex, Atoka
Finish off the Summer Reading Program with a splash! Celebrate with Atoka County Library’s Summer Reading Splash Bash! Join us at the Atoka Sports Complex Splash Pad (2077 W Liberty Rd) on Saturday, July 19th at 11:00 AM for snacks, prizes and fun! All ages are welcome to attend this exciting event.

Messy Art Day
For Ages 8 and Up
Unleash your creativity at the Atoka County Library! Join us on Friday, June 27th from 12:30 - 2:00 PM for an exhilarating Messy Art Day! Children are invited to dive into a world of colorful imagination, where they’ll experiment with exciting painting techniques like splatter painting, sponge bomb painting, pendulum painting, and more! All supplies will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.

Matte of Balance Class
For Ages 18 and Up
Ready to embrace a healthier you? Beginning April 15th, join us for a class “Matter of Balance” for adults at Atoka County Library. This 4-week course will be from 2:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, until May 8th with Melinda Scott with Big 5 Community Action. All equipment is provided but wearing comfortable athletic clothes and shoes is recommended. Attendees are encouraged to call ahead and sign up.

Learn to Draw
For Ages 8 and Up
Attention young artists and comic enthusiasts! Join us at the Atoka County Library on Thursdays at 4:30 PM to learn how to draw comics, characters, and graphic design from local artist Robert Bevan, starting February 20th. These classes will be structured as 6-week courses, with the final week featuring an art showcase event displaying the attendees' work. Call to sign up.

Storytime
For Ages 0 - 10
Looking for a fun activity to participate in with your child? Join Atoka County Library for Storytime with Ms. Walker. This program will occur monthly every third Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Ms. Walker will read from a book for children. Families are welcome to join in the fun.
