Book Signing Event
With Author Carolyn Brown
The Davis Public Library is excited to announce a special book signing event on Saturday, July 25th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring acclaimed author Carolyn Brown. Community members are invited to meet Brown and celebrate the release of her new poetry collection, “That’s the Way It Was in 1980.” Attendees will have the unique opportunity to chat with Carolyn Brown, hear her share captivating stories, and gain insights into her creative process. The event promises a warm and engaging atmosphere for adult guests who appreciate poetry and storytelling. Free and open to the public.
Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join friends at the Davis Public Library for their book club at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, July 28th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “The Wedding People” by Alison Espach, will be discussed. Call to sign up.

1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.
Tai Chi Classes
For Ages 18 and Up
Looking for an exercise that improves strength, balance, and helps reduce stress? The Davis Public Library is continuing to offer Tai Chi for adults and seniors. Classes are offered each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 AM starting March 10. Call to sign up.
Game Night
For Ages 13 and Up
Game night is the perfect way to bring the thrill of an all-out magical battle to your friends and family all in one convenient box. Fans of Magic the Gathering are invited to the Davis Public Library every Thursday at 6:00 PM to participate in this popular competition. In addition to this popular card game, the library will also have board games available for everyone to play.
