For Kids and Teens
The winter season is approaching! Whether you’re looking to learn about new places to visit, tips on improving yourself for the new year, curling up with a cozy read, or transporting to a whole new world, what better place to find the best books than with the Southern Oklahoma Library System! Broccoli Stamped Autumn Art
For Kids of All Ages
Fall is in the air at Parker Memorial Library! Join us from 3:00 – 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 19th to create autumn art. Children of all ages are invited to come and use broccoli to stamp leaves on their own custom autumn tree. All materials will be provided by the library. Sign-ups are encouraged.
Cocoa and Cards
For All Ages
Get ready for the holidays at Parker Memorial Library! Join us from 3:00 – 4:30 PM on Wednesday, December 3rd, for cocoa and cards. Patrons of all ages are welcome to come sip cocoa and make custom holiday cards that are perfect to give to friends and family. All materials will be provided by the library. Sign-ups are encouraged.
iPhone 101 Class
For Seniors and Adults
Join Parker Memorial Library at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9th, to learn the basics of your iPhone. In this class, attendees will learn how to navigate an iPhone, connecting to Wi-Fi, common apps used on iPhones, helpful settings, and more. Attendees can bring their own iPhone. This class is designed for seniors; however, anyone ages 18 and up can also attend. Call to sign up.
Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus
For All Ages
Join us for a special event at the Parker Memorial Library! At 2:00 PM on Monday, December 22nd, the library will be holding a special Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus for children of all ages. Afterwards, family and friends can come capture magical moments with Santa and Mrs. Claus. This Storytime event is free and open to the public.
Toddler Time
For Ages 3 Years and Younger
Looking for the perfect activity for your young child? Beginning at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2nd, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Toddler for children ages 3 and younger. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story and do a fun craft. Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! This activity will continue weekly until Tuesday, December 16.
