Yoga Classes
For Ages 18 and Up
Want to give yoga a try but don’t know where to start? Join Parker Memorial Library for a 10-week yoga course led by instructor Angela Deen. Guests ages 18 and up will learn about basic postures, breathing techniques, and meditation on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 AM beginning February 10th through April 16th. Call to sign up.

Healthy Fruit & Vegetable Dips Class
For Ages 19 and Up
Fall in love with fruits and vegetables again at the Join Parker Memorial Library! Join us Tuesday, March 25th at 6:00 PM to sample delicious ways to dress up fruits and vegetables with healthful, protein-powered dips with instructor Diane Birkes. All materials will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.

Salads in a Jar Class
For Ages 19 and Up
Join Parker Memorial Library on Tuesday, April 1st at 6:00 PM to learn how to make the ultimate healthy convenient food – salads in a jar. Instructor Diane Birkes will demonstrate how to make these on-the-go meals that have minimum prep and maximum satisfaction. Call to sign up.

Pressed Flower Crafts Class
For Teens and Adults
Light up the sky with this floral craft! Join Parker Memorial Library on Monday, April 7th at 6:00 PM for Pressed Flower Crafts. Adult and teen participants will be able to decorate either a ring dish or a lantern with a variety of dried flowers. Call to sign up.

Get ready for National Library Week with Parker Memorial Library! Join us on Tuesday, April 8th at 4:00 PM for “Read with a Ranger” with Ranger Patty Wakefield from the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Ranger Wakefield will read “Buffalo Fluffalo” by Bess Kalb to children, ages 6-11, with a bison puppet craft afterward. Call to sign up.

Learn Healthy Recipes
For Ages 19 and Up
Starting Tuesday, April 8th at 6:00 PM, the Parker Memorial Library will be hosting an 8-week course on healthy recipes on Tuesdays through May 27th. Each week instructor Diane Birkes will demonstrate different recipes and techniques to help participants eat healthily. Call to sign up.

Healthy Snacks Cooking Class
For Ages 6 - 11
Join Parker Memorial Library for a new twist on healthy snacks. Join instructor Debbie Sharp with the Murray County OSU Extension Office on Tuesday, April 22nd at 4:00 PM to learn how to make healthy snacks like orange Julius, cheese quesadillas, and sour patch grapes. This class is designed for children and sign-ups are encouraged.

Storytime
For Ages 0 - 5
Looking for the perfect activity for your young child? Beginning on Thursdays, March 27th, at 10:00 AM, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Storytime for children. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story, and do a fun craft. This activity will continue weekly until Thursday, May 29th.

1,000 Books before Kindergarten
It's easy! One day, one book.
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler and get rewards. Children get prizes for every 100 books they read. When they read 1,000 books - get a T-shirt!
