Tai Chi Classes – Wilson Public Library

January 7, 2026

Looking to try something that has gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation? Join Wilson Public Library on Thursdays at 1:30 PM for Tai Chi for arthritis and fall prevention classes starting January 8th. Attendees ages 18 and up will follow the teaching of Dr. Paul Lam of Tai Chi for Health Institute and focus on gentle movements designed to support joint health, mental focus, and stress relief. All levels welcome; however, this will be an introductory class for the first 8 weeks to teach the basics of Tai Chi. These classes are free and open to the public. Signing up is encouraged.

Wilson Public Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
