Looking to hone your baking skills? Start with the Sourdough Starter Workshop at Johnston County Library on Monday, October 28th at 6:00 PM.
Join Amanda Lewis of the OSU Extension service for a beginner’s hands-on workshop that introduces you to the world of sourdough! This session will cover the basic wheat varieties and types of flour, providing you with the foundational knowledge needed to start your sourdough journey. While we won’t be preparing food during the workshop, you’ll leave with your own sourdough starter to take home and nurture. Whether you’re new to baking or looking to learn more, this workshop is the perfect starting point. This workshop is free and open to adults 18 and up. Call to reserve a spot.
