Butterfly Garden Craft for Children – Love County Library

June 8, 2023

Looking for a fun and crafty activity for your children? Check out the Children’s Butterfly Garden Craft at Love County Library on Tuesday, June 13th at 4:00 PM! This activity involves decorating a pot and planting milkweed to help the monarch migration. Lauren Minyard of the OSU Extension Service will cover a brief overview of the importance of monarch butterflies, their migration, and what attracts them to the landscapes and gardens. Plus, they’ll have a blast getting creative and planting their very own butterfly garden! Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Guests are encouraged to sign up in advance.
