Canning Salsa Class – Parker Memorial Library

Capture the freshness of summer garden veggies at Parker Memorial Library! Join us on Thursday, July 17th at 6:00 PM at the Murray County Expo Center Kitchen (3490 State Hwy 7, Sulphur, OK) where attendees will learn to make and safely can delicious homemade salsa with instructor Debbie Sharp from the OSU Extension Office. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned canner looking to turn up the heat, this class is packed with flavor and fun! This workshop is designed for teens and adults ages 14 and up. Reservations are encouraged as space is limited.

Parker Memorial Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the ODL.
