Looking for a gentle way to support your heart, mind, and joints? Champion Public Library invites adults 18 and up to join our 8-session chair yoga series, led by instructor Mae Woodward. Classes will be held every Wednesday at 2:00 PM, from March 4th through April 22nd. All equipment is provided—just wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Spaces are limited, so sign up today to secure your spot and start your journey to better well-being!
Chair yoga introduces stretches that can help with joint pain relief, encourage relaxation, increase flexibility plus improve circulation, and combat depression and anxiety. All exercises shown in this class are done while standing beside or sitting in a chair.
Champion Public Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
