Fresh Start: Education Nutrition Program – Atoka County Library

The Atoka County Library and the OSU Extension have teamed up to bring Fresh Start: Education Nutrition Program; a 4-week nutrition education course, starting on Friday, April 25th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with instructor Madison Sam of the OSU Extension. Attendees 18 and up are encouraged to attend this free program.

The Fresh Start program is hands-on and teaches new skills that participants can use at home every day – from planning, shopping, and cooking tips t simple solutions for healthy eating and daily physical activity. Graduates of the program receive a cookbook and a signed graduation certificate.

Atoka County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
