Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join others at the Healdton Community Library for their book club at 5:30 PM on Monday, September 22nd. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “The God of the Woods” by Liz Moore, will be discussed. Call to sign up.
Kids Decorating Cupcakes Class
For Ages 5 - 17
Is your child interested in brushing up on their decorating skills for the upcoming holidays? Join the Healdton Community Library at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 4th, for Decorating Cupcakes for Kids. Children ages 5 to 17 will learn to decorate cupcakes using a variety of different piping tips and techniques. Call to sign up.
Tea Towel Painting Craft Class
For Ages 18 and Up
Get your autumn crafting on at Healdton Community Library! Join us at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10th, for a tea towel painting class! Participants will create and paint designs and phrases on tea towels that can be used to decorate their living spaces or kitchen. Supplies will be provided by the library including: paints, tea towels, stencils and even apples! Call to sign up.
Flu Vaccine Event
With the Carter County Health Department
Trying to stay healthy for the upcoming Flu and Cold season? Healdton Community Library will be partnering with the Carter County Health Department to host a Flu Vaccine event from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 24th. Participants of all ages are welcome to attend and receive a flu vaccine. This event is free and open to the public.
Crochet Classes

Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM, you'll find a warm and welcoming group of fellow crafting enthusiasts just like you. It’s the perfect chance to learn how to crochet, exchange ideas and patterns, and make new friends along the way.
