Tea Towel Painting Craft Class
For Ages 18 and Up
Get your autumn crafting on at Healdton Community Library! Join us at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10th, for a tea towel painting class! Participants will create and paint designs and phrases on tea towels that can be used to decorate their living spaces or kitchen. Supplies will be provided by the library including: paints, tea towels, stencils and even apples! Call to sign up.

Crochet Basics: Granny Scarf
For Ages 18 and Up
Want to learn how to crochet but don’t know where to start? Join us at the Healdton Community Library at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, October 14th to learn how to crochet a One Skein Granny Rows Scarf. This pattern is a perfect project for crochet beginners. Yarn will be provided by the library. H Hooks will be available for $1.00. Call to sign up.

Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join friends at the Healdton Community Library for their book club at 5:30 PM on Monday, October 20th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “The Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah will be discussed.

Flu Vaccine Event
With the Carter County Health Department
Trying to stay healthy for the upcoming Flu and Cold season? Healdton Community Library will be partnering with the Carter County Health Department to host a Flu Vaccine event from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 24th. Participants of all ages are welcome to attend and receive a flu vaccine. This event is free and open to the public.

Spooky Halloween Jars Craft Class
For Ages 5 - 16
Something frightfully fun is happening at Healdton Community Library! Join us at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, October 28th, to create your very own spooky Halloween jars. Children will create a creepy Halloween jar of horrors using plastic insects, color-tinted water, a mason jar, and a waterproof light. Due to limited space, sign-up is required.

Yoga Gentle Flow
