Get to Know Your Sewing Machine Class
For Ages 18 and Up
Have a sewing machine but don’t know how to use it? Is there a jam that you don’t know how to fix? Join us at the Healdton Community Library at 4:00 PM on Monday, April 13th to get to know your sewing machine. Led by Jovita Black, OSU Master Volunteer in Sewing, participants will learn how to clean, maintain, operate, and repair small problems with sewing machines. This program is designed for ages 18 and up. Signing up is encouraged.
Monthly 3D Printing Class
For All Ages
Discover the fascinating world of 3D printing! Witness the magic in action and learn the basics of 3D printing at Healdton Community Library. Starting on Saturday, April 25th, during library hours, the library will be conducting a monthly 3D printing class every 4th Saturday of each month. Call to sign up.
Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join friends at the Healdton Community Library for their book club at 5:30 PM on Monday, April 27th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “Too Old for This” by Samantha Downing will be discussed. Call to sign up.
Duck and Geese Eggacademy
For All Ages
Join Healdton Community Library at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, April 28th, as Stephanie Smith from OSU Carter County Extension Service speaks about the basics of raising ducks and geese. In this class, participants will gain valuable insights into duck and geese breeds, egg production, proper feeding, pen setup, and essential health care tips. Whether you’re a backyard hobbyist, a family considering your first flock, or simply curious about waterbirds, this event offers something for everyone. Call to sign up.
Community Walk Along
For Ages 18 and Up
Spring is in the air and why not enjoy it with others in the community with the Healdton Community Library! Starting at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 2nd, join us for a weekly walk at the library to enjoy this spring weather. The 6-week community walk is perfect for participants, ages 18 and up, who want to exercise and network with others. Signing up is encouraged.
