Summer Reading Programming opens at Healdton Community Library this June and July! Featuring the theme “Unearth A Story” the annual SRP will host the following performers at 11:00 AM every Monday. Call for more information.
Weeklong Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt
For All Ages
The Healdton Community Library is excited to announce a weeklong Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt for all ages. From Monday, June 22nd, through Friday, June 26th, patrons are invited to explore the library during regular hours and search for hidden dinosaurs throughout the library. Call for more details.
Learn & Play: Colonial Games Event
For All Ages
Join the Healdton Community Library for a special “Learn & Play: Colonial Games” event, taking place Monday, June 29th, through Friday, July 3rd, during regular library hours, featuring classic colonial games such as ring toss, marbles, chess, tic-tac-toe, bowling, maze games, ball catch, and trivia. As a special treat, on Thursday, July 2nd, the library will serve complimentary cake and refreshments to all attendees. Call for more details.
Patriotic Pillow Sewing Class
For Teens and Adults
The Healdton Community Library invites teens and adults to attend a special Patriotic Pillow Sewing Class on Tuesday, June 30th, from 3:00 to 6:30 PM. This community event is part of the library’s celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary and aims to bring together crafters of all skill levels for a fun and creative afternoon. Call to sign up.
Dinosaur Suncatcher Craft Class
For All Ages
The Healdton Community Library is excited to announce a hands-on craft event for the community: Dinosaur Suncatchers! The event will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7th, at the library. Crafters of all ages are invited to join in the fun and creativity. Participants will use tissue paper and a variety of other materials to design their own unique dinosaur-themed suncatchers—perfect for brightening up any window with vibrant, homemade art. Celebration Party

The Southern Oklahoma Library System is pleased to invite the community to a special event honoring Lori Ratliff. Guests are encouraged to stop by the library beginning at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 9th, at the Healdton Community Library for this come-and-go celebration. This celebration is open to all ages and offers an opportunity for friends, colleagues, and library patrons to express their gratitude and best wishes to Lori as she embarks on her next chapter as a library assistant for the Healdton Community Library and Wilson Public Library.
