Healthy Cowboy Caviar Class – Love County Library

August 14, 2025

Join the Love County Library at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 22nd, for a tasty session on creating a healthier version of cowboy caviar. Cowboy caviar, also known as Texas caviar, is a tasty and versatile dish that’s packed with protein-rich beans, fresh veggies, and a zesty dressing and often enjoyed as a dip, salad, or side dish. This program is for all ages; however, signing up is encouraged due to limited space.

Love County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

For more information, call the Love County Library at (580) 276-3783 or visit the library at 500 South Hwy 77 in Marietta. The Love County Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System.
