Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Engage in a book discussion with the Johnston County Library at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 5th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. Participants will share views on “The Rebel Angels” by Robertson Davies. Refreshments this month will be provided by the Johnston County Friends of the Library.
Save Time and Money with SOS Mix Class
For All Ages
Things are cooking up at Johnston County Library! Join us at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 19th to learn how to save time and money with SOS mix led by Amanda Lewis with the OSU Extension Office. In this presentation, Lewis will show how versatile soup and sauce (SOS) mix with this pantry staple that makes meal preparation faster, easier, and more flavorful. It can be used in soups, gravies, casseroles, skillet meals, and creamed vegetables, and can replace a can of cream soup in most recipes. Call to sign up.
With SOLS
This spring, the Southern Oklahoma Library System is thrilled to announce our participation in Neighborhood Forest's 17th Annual Free Tree Program as part of our Earth Week celebrations from April 19 - 25! Scan the QR code and fill out the online registration form by March 15th. Tree saplings will be delivered to your SOLS branch and will be arranged to get the tree sapling in the hands of your children on or around Earth Day (April 22nd) to pick up.
