Attention young artists and comic enthusiasts! Join us at the Atoka County Library on Thursdays at 4:30 PM to learn how to draw comics, characters, and graphic design from local artist Robert Bevan, starting February 20th. These classes will be structured as 6-week courses, with the final week featuring an art showcase event displaying the attendees’ work.
The courses include Basic Art Principles, covering shapes, lighting, and shading. We will offer beginner and intermediate classes, along with sessions focused on Photoshop, character design, and comic creation. This program is designed for ages 8 and up, and sign-up is encouraged.
Robert Bevan is a retired Army veteran living in Lane, OK. He specializes in multimedia graphic design and enjoys sharing his art at comic conventions and local art shows, as well as teaching kids how to draw.
