Let’s Talk: Alpha-Gal Syndrome – Johnston County Library

Join Johnston County Library on Thursday, May 29th at 6:00 PM for an informative session with Amanda Lewis from the OSU Extension as Lewis discusses Alpha-Gal Syndrome.

Alpha-Gal syndrome is a tick-borne allergy to red meat and other products made from mammals. Learn about symptoms, diagnosis, and how to manage this increasingly common condition. Don’t miss this opportunity to stay informed and protect your health! This program is designed for ages 18 and up and attendees are encouraged to sign up.

Johnston County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
