After School Halloween and Fall Arts & Crafts
For All Ages
Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to get into the spooky season than crafting! Join Parker Memorial Library for an after school Halloween and Fall Art & Crafts event from 3:00 – 4:30 PM on Wednesday, October 29th. All ages can come and create a ghost painting, a suncatcher pumpkin, and a paper plate monster while enjoying some yummy snacks. All materials will be provided by the library. Sign-ups are encouraged.
Christmas Craft Party
For Teens and Adults
Get into the Christmas spirit at Parker Memorial Library! Join us at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 10th, for a crafting party featuring button snowmen and cork/pinecone Christmas trees. All materials will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.
Diabetes Prevention and Management Class
For Adults
Join the Parker Memorial Library at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, November 12th for a diabetes prevention and management class. Led by Debra Graham, RN, BSN from the Murray County Health Department, teens and adult attendees will learn about how carbs and exercise affect blood sugar. This program is free and open to the public.
"Booked on a Thursday" Book Club
For Adults
Join Parker Memorial Library for “Booked on a Thursday” Book Club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, November 13th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month's book selection is “An American Beauty” by Shana Abe. Refreshments will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.
Broccoli Stamped Autumn Art
For Kids of All Ages
Fall is in the air at Parker Memorial Library! Join us from 3:00 – 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 19th to create autumn art. Children of all ages are invited to come and use broccoli to stamp leaves on their own custom autumn tree. All materials will be provided by the library. Sign-ups are encouraged.
Toddler Time
For Ages 3 Years and Younger
Looking for the perfect activity for your young child? Beginning at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2nd, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Toddler for children ages 3 and younger. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story and do a fun craft. Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! This activity will continue weekly until Tuesday, December 16. Call to sign up.
