Reimagining the Rest of Your Life Lecture – Champion Pubic Library

April 1, 2026

Join Champion Public Library for a special keynote lecture at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7th on an uplifting conversation with Emmy-winning journalist and bestselling author Jane Pauley as she talks about how reinvention not as a risk, but as an opportunity. True to Road Scholar’s spirit, Pauley explores curiosity as a lifelong practice, sharing stories from decades of conversations with remarkable people and the “learning adventures” that changed how she sees the world. With the candor and warmth that have made Pauley one of America’s most trusted voices, she reflects on the pivotal moments that shaped her extraordinary career, the advice she’d give her younger self and the mindset that helped her navigate profound changes in the world of media and in life with grace. This event is free and open to adults ages 18 and up; however, signing up is encouraged. This Zoom lecture event is sponsored by Road Scholar.

Jane Pauley anchors “CBS News Sunday Morning” and is one of America’s most respected broadcast journalists. Over a five-decade career, Pauley has earned multiple Emmys, the Walter Cronkite Award, the Edward R. Murrow Award, and a 2024 NATAS Lifetime Achievement Award. Pauley’s landmark interviews range from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to David Letterman and Vice President Kamala Harris. Previously a co-host of NBC’s “Today Show” and co-founding anchor of “Dateline NBC,” she is the author of two New York Times bestsellers.
