Recycled Notebook Craft Class – Champion Public Library

June 19, 2026

Champion Public Library invites young creators to join a special craft class that turns old children’s books into one-of-a-kind notebooks. This hands-on event will take place from 2:00 to 3:30 PM on Monday, June 22nd.

Designed for ages 7 to 13, the class gives participants the unique opportunity to recycle beloved children’s books by transforming them into personal notebooks, complete with both blank pages and the original story inside. All materials will be provided, and library staff will guide children step-by-step through the creative process.

Space is limited and sign-up is required.

The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.

For more information or to sign up, you can contact the Champion Public Library at (580) 223-3164. You can visit the library at 601 Railway Express in Ardmore. The Champion Public Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System (SOLS).
