Protect yourself from unknown Bluetooth tracking devices! Wilson Public Library is partnering with the Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma (FSSO) to host a free come-and-go safety event from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 6th. Community members can walk in anytime for a free “mini” vehicle GPS detection scan and a short hands-on training on the AirGuard app. The application helps individuals detect unknown Bluetooth trackers such as Apple AirTags, Samsung SmartTags, and Google Find My Device trackers. In just 15 to 20 minutes, participants will learn how to download and use the app, how and where to scan their own vehicle, what steps to take if a tracker is found, and how to connect with an FSSO advocate. No registration is required.
