Families of all ages are welcome to participate in this free event and discover interesting facts about the sunspots and more. The Oklahoma Department of Libraries and SEAL (Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries) will provide kits for craft and outdoor activity. Reservations are encouraged. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn about the solar eclipse!

This program is related to the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. This rare event will traverse North America and cross over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. It occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, completely obscuring the Sun’s face. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk.
