Health Check Program – Love County Library

April 25, 2024

Join the Love County Library and the Love County Health Department on Tuesday, April 30th at 1:00 PM for a health check program. The Health Department will provide a biometric scale to measure your body’s overall health and discuss the early signs of diabetes as well as ways to prevent it. The program is open to all guests aged 18 and above, and we encourage everyone to sign up.

Biometric scales measure the weight and proportions of body fat and muscle. These devices enable people to estimate their weight and body composition quickly.

Love County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Reservations are encouraged by calling the Love County Library at (580) 276-3783. You can visit the library at 500 South Hwy 77 in Marietta. The Love County Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System. The Southern Oklahoma Library System was named Oklahoma Library of the Year in 2024!
