SOS Mix Class – Johnston County Library

February 11, 2026

Things are cooking up at Johnston County Library! Join us at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 19th to learn how to save time and money with SOS mix led by Amanda Lewis with the OSU Extension Office. In this presentation, Lewis will show how versatile soup and sauce (SOS) mix with this pantry staple that makes meal preparation faster, easier, and more flavorful. It can be used in soups, gravies, casseroles, skillet meals, and creamed vegetables, and can replace a can of cream soup in most recipes. SOS mix is fat-free and contains no wheat, making it a great option for those with Celiac disease. All ages are welcome to join and learn. Sign up now to secure your spot!
