Join friends at the Wilson Public Library for their book club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, September 24th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “Anxious People” by Fredrik Backman, will be discussed. Books will be available for pickup starting Wednesday, September 2nd.
An apartment open house turns into a hostage crisis when a failed bank robber bursts in. The captives include a fixer-upper-obsessed couple avoiding marital issues, a self-absorbed bank director, an expectant couple who can’t agree on anything, an unflappable 87-year-old woman, a flustered real estate agent, and a mysterious man locked in the bathroom—creating the most unlikely group of hostages.
