Is your child interested in healthy cooking? Join Healdton Community Library for a culinary experience starting Tuesday, June 17 – Friday, June 20th, and Tuesday, June 24th at 10:30 AM. Whittiny Barber with the OSU extension, will present “Kik It Up: Encouraging Kids in the Kitchen”, a summer program for children in 2nd – 5th grade. This program encourages children to eat healthier snacks and exercise more through engaging activities throughout the week. Signing up is encouraged.
Healdton Community Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
