If you’re looking for a monthly outdoor activity and want to learn more about the history of Johnston County, join the Johnston County Library and OSU Extension for a “Stride Along” event. This month’s meet-up will take place at Tishomingo Cemetery, located at 704 S. Murray St. in Tishomingo, starting at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 27th.
Led by Amanda Lewis from OSU Extension, this event aims to encourage participants to explore the great outdoors and walk for at least 30 minutes. This event will be held monthly on the last Thursday of the month. Great for adults 18 and up. Call to reserve a spot. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Johnston County Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
