Touch-A-Truck and Foam Party – Champion Public Library

May 1, 2025

Join us at Champion Public Library on Saturday, May 10th for two family-friendly events! Touch-A-Truck will be from 10:00 to 11:30 AM and will provide children of all ages the experience of viewing life-sized vehicles and the opportunity to interact with community leaders such as police officers, firemen, construction workers, and more. Vehicles featured at this event will be from the Ardmore Fire Department, Carter County Sheriff Department, Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service, Warren Cat Equipment, and much more.

Shortly following Touch-A-Truck, Champion Public Library will host a Foam Party to kick off this year’s Summer Reading Program. From 1:30 to 2:30 PM, children will be able to play with fantastic foam. Goggles, a towel, water-safe shoes, and play clothes are recommended.

Both outdoor events are free and open to the public.

This Summer Reading Program is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. This program is also sponsored by the Friends of the Champion Public Library.
