Diabetes Conversation Map Class – Champion Public Library

This interactive series offers a hands-on approach to understanding diabetes using visual Conversation Maps. Attendees will learn essential skills for managing diabetes, including meal planning, medication management, and making healthy, informed decisions every day. Each session covers critical topics such as Nutrition & Carb Counting, Medication & Glucose Monitoring, and Physical Activity & Lifestyle Changes. The program is designed for adults and seniors and is free and open to the public.

Champion Public Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
