The Healdton Community Library is excited to host a special “Learn & Play: Colonial Games” event, taking place Monday, June 29th, through Friday, July 3rd, during regular library hours. This engaging and educational program is open to all ages and offers the perfect way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday!
Step back in time and experience the games that entertained early Americans. Attendees can try their hand at classic colonial games such as ring toss, marbles, chess, tic-tac-toe, bowling, maze games, ball catch, and test their knowledge with fun colonial trivia. The entire community is invited to join in the fun, learn about American history, and make new memories together.
As a special treat, on Thursday, July 2nd, the library will serve complimentary cake and refreshments to all attendees.
This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (Grant LS-259198-OLS-25) and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
