Join others at the Davis Public Library’s book club at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, October 21st. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “Star Splitter” by Matthew J. Kirby will be featured.
In the year 2199, deep-space exploration and teleportation are routine. Seventeen-year-old Jessica Mathers wakes up in a crashed lander on the desolate planet Carver 1061c, far from Earth. The corridors are stained with bloody handprints, machines are silent, and outside lie unmarked graves. Jessica must uncover the mystery of the devastation around her and the intentions of a familiar stranger.
