Teen Anime & Manga Book Club – Champion Public Library

December 20, 2024

The holidays are upon us at Champion Public Library’s Teen Anime & Manga Book Club! Join us on Thursday, December 26th, at 5:30 PM, as we discuss “My Hero Academia, Vol. 1” by Kohei Horikoshi and watch the special holiday episode from the anime series. After our discussion, teens aged 13 to 17 can participate in a round of Anime Character Bingo. Delicious snacks will be provided by the library. Don’t miss out on the fun!

In a world where 80 percent of the population has superpowers called “Quirks,” heroes and villains are constantly battling. Aspiring hero Izuku Midoriya is a Quirkless middle school student who dreams of attending U.A. High School for heroes. His future seems bleak, but an encounter with All Might, the greatest hero, offers him a chance to change his destiny.
