Technology Help for Seniors – Parker Memorial Library

July 17, 2026

Parker Memorial Library is excited to announce an upcoming event designed to help local seniors navigate technology with confidence. On Thursday, July 23rd, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, library staff will be available at the Sulphur Senior Nutrition Center, located at 401 E. Oklahoma Ave in Sulphur, to answer basic technology questions and assist with devices.

This special outreach program invites seniors to bring their phones, tablets, or laptops and take advantage of the expertise of professional librarians. Whether it’s learning how to use email, navigating the internet, or troubleshooting device issues, the library team is eager to support the community’s technology needs. No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend.

The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.

For more information, contact the Parker Memorial Library at (580) 634-2315 or visit the library at 500 West Broadway in Sulphur. The Parker Memorial Library is a branch of the Southern Oklahoma Library System.
