All About Bees – Wilson Public Library

Spring is a-buzz! Join Wilson Public Library for our virtual adventure series through Wilderness Inquiry on “All About Bees” on Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 PM. This series is for all ages. Call to sign up.

It’s time to shake off that cabin fever and get ready to learn about the tiny insects that play a crucial role in pollination and make spring more beautiful – the bees! While many species are important pollinators, bees hold a special place in our hearts, perhaps it’s because of that delicious honey! In this session, a bee specialist will speak about everything you ever wanted to know about bees.

Wilderness Inquiry developed virtual adventures to advance our mission of connecting everyone to the outdoors, regardless of age, ability, or background. Each Virtual Adventure is led by outdoor professionals and partners including biologists, historians, and rangers from the National Park Service. Explore destinations near and far, and learn about topics such as history, culture, and ecology. The virtual adventures is a great fit for armchair travelers looking to explore from home, program coordinators looking for new learning opportunities, or anyone interested in learning more about the natural world.

The Summer Reading Program is also supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
